Hello everyone!
Today I’m going to talk about my favorite band.
My favorite band is Snarky Puppy. Snarky Puppy is a band formed
in 2004 that combines a variety of genres such as jazz, rock, funk and world
music. It is led by the bassist Michael League who has describe the band as “a
pop band that improvises a lot”.
I had a teacher in high school who told me about this band,
so I searched the band on YouTube, and immediately like the sound of
everything, it’s like the music I always wanted to hear.
The album “We like it Here” is the first one that I listened
and also my favorite. My favorite song of the album is “Shofukan”
The thing that I like the most about the band is the mix of genres, that results
in some really fun music to listen to.
Nowadays I am into jazz and fusion jazz music and one of the
things that I like of jazz is the improvisation, because makes all performances
different.
I also like other genres, like rock, metal, latin and v a p o
r w a v e.
